Dedication Ceremony

You are cordially invited to attend and be a part of a special Veterans’ Park Dedication Ceremony at 10:00 AM, on Saturday, November 9, 2024, located at the Halethorpe flagpole (Ridge Avenue and Selma Avenue). This ceremony is for HIA members, those military members who are actively serving, everyone who is or was a veteran, those who have or had a veteran in their family, and/or who are proud of the veterans you now know or have known.

During the ceremony, members of the HIA and the American Legion Dewey Lowman Post #109, will be dedicating the recent installation of the plaque honoring the six US Military Branches, plaque honoring the sponsors and friends of the Veterans’ Park, and the engraved Veteran Bricks.

Parking is available at the MARC Train Station lot. Refreshments will be served.
