Halethorpe Veterans’ Park - Description
Dear HIA Member:
As many of you are aware, the HIA has been working on plans to refurbish and upgrade our Veterans’ Park located on the corners of Ridge and Selma Avenue, where the existing flagpole is situated.
The committee recently submitted its final recommendations to the Board of Directors and was approved for a vote by our general membership. The design and sponsorship plans were presented at our General Meeting on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, and was approved unanimously. It was also featured in our May 2024 newsletter. Part of the plan is a sponsorship program to cover the cost and maintenance of our new Veterans’ Park. Attached is the sponsorship application with pricing and details. We are hoping that HIA members will consider sponsoring this endeavor.

If you have a veteran in your family, or have friends with a veteran in their family, the "Engraved Brick" Sponsorship is a great way to forever memorialize them by honoring their service and sacrifice.
